Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress as well as a performer. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her parents are from Polish descent (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment from a young age. In 1992 she won her first role at an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mom introduced her to an agent before she was thirteen, and she was cast for television and newspaper commercials. In addition, Bell started taking classes in acting privately. Bell appeared as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell was a member of the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school and she took home the role as Dorothy. Bell was a student of in musical theater at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she was the first to make her credit debut as Becky in Pootie Tang. But the film cut her character out of the movie and she only appears in the credits. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and The Crucible Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
