Antonia Lofaso

Chef Antonia Lofaso's culinary creations are an invitation to explore the depths of her inner world. Her curiosity grew as she moved from her home in the Long Island suburbs to explore the vast cultural diversity in Los Angeles. The carnetas and the Cavatelli, she believes, can coexist on the same menu. Her sensibility is always changing. What remains is her singular vision of the future while looking back to the past. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso founded in 2013, received a great reception because it was inspired by her Italian tradition. Lofaso's traditional Italian rendition is widely regarded as one among Los Angeles' most captivating restaurants. The restaurant serves delicious and consistent meals at Scopa which is a favorite of the neighborhood. The patrons call it authentic and satisfying. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary who employed sophisticated methods. But, she did not fear taking extraordinary risks in order to respect her instincts. In a short time, Lofaso rose to the highest level of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Later she worked with a variety of famous people while transforming various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. The home of Lofaso was located within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso was able to finally experience the creativity she had always desired. Black Market doesn't have one specific orientation. This is the intention. It could start with chip dill, followed by shishitos peppers. Following that is a Korean wings and then the meatballs course. Antonia's distinctive flavors form the basis of these daring combinations. Through her entire career, Lofaso has measured her success through her ability to understand her audience and remain authentic to her personality. Apart from her memorable performance in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her distinctiveness was also praised outside of the kitchen. She is still awe-inspiring on the screen in her role as judge on CNBC judge and recurring role in the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. In 2012 Lofaso was a part of Penguin to publish"The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 recipes for quick Delicious Home-cooked Meals, which also recounts the challenges she overcame when she was studying at the world-class French Culinary Institute, and while raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso maintains that the inspiration behind all of Lofaso's accomplishments is her kitchen. It's through this vein she is always on pulse. With the Chefletics brand, she is changing the look of her industry by re-designing chefwear for both style and function. The main goal of Lofaso is to remain committed to her goals. To achieve this goal, she launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. This will provide clients with the most personal service.
