Bella Poarch's biological Filipino parents gave birth to Bella in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997. Her mother was on the streets for three years until she reached her age at which point she was placed to a foster home. The father she adopted, who is Filipina-American who has a military background was white, and American. She says her adoptive brother and she were subjected to abuse since she was young until she enlisted. In order to move to Texas after she reached 13her family stayed for several months staying in San Francisco to stay with her Aunt. The physical assault subsided but she still dealt with the psychological abuse her father suffered at home. Within 18 years, she enlisted with an organization called the United States Navy. Poarch was the first to join TikTok in the month of April, 2020 which quickly gained traction. The site grew to over 40 million fans within less than 8 months. Her most notable success came from her video for the hit Millie B track Soph Aspin Send. The zoomed-in video of her rhythmically jumping and lip-syncing to the song made the rounds and was one of TikTok's most popular video clips of all time. When she joined TikTok Poarch created her own YouTube account, as well as an Twitter one to maximize her fame. Her fame grew to a peak in December of 2020. Two big Esports professional teams were reportedly keen on her. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves have expressed an interest for her to work as a freelance creator of content for their brands.
