Taylor-Joy acknowledged that the move had been traumatic, and refused to go back to school in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School and studied ballet and performed in school's productions. At the age of 16, she quit school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was offered a modeling job from Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
